Moments of Hope: You are Part of the MIssion
Oct 15, 2026 • Pastor Andy Searles
Two days before Apollo 13 launched, Ken Mattingly lost his seat. But when the mission went wrong, the astronaut who stayed on the ground helped bring his teammates home.
His role changed. His contribution still mattered.
As we’ve been studying the church, we’re reminded that we all have a part to play. Some contributions are visible; others happen quietly. Each gives us an opportunity to serve.
“Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others.” — 1 Peter 4:10 CSB
Watch this week’s Moments of Hope video and consider: What has God placed in your hands that could strengthen his church this week?
