Renew Them in Our Day!
As we begin a new year, I'd like to offer you a simple prayer to pray. One verse that can change everything. Wouldn't it be amazing if God would do again what He has done before?
This prayer was first ushered from the prophet Habakkuk and is found in his letter (Chapter 3:2). Here it is in three different translations
Join me in praying this prayer...
"LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day" - N.I.V.
"God, I've heard what our ancestors say about you, and I'm stopped in my tracks, down on my knees. Do among us what you did among them. Work among us as you worked among them." - The Message
"I have heard all about you, Lord. I am filled with awe by your amazing works. In this time of our deep need, help us again as you did in years gone by. And in your anger, remember your mercy." – NKJV
Let's proclaim his name and fame
Let's stand in awe of all God has, can, and will do.
