Moments of Hope: Addition by Subtraction

We don't usually like it when things get taken away—whether it's Apple removing the headphone jack, Blockbuster closing its doors, or a favorite restaurant shutting down. But what feels like loss often makes room for something better. In John 15, Jesus likens this pruning to a reminder that God sometimes removes things from our lives, not to punish us, but to prepare us for greater fruit.
